About the journal
Chaitanya is a Refereed & Peer-Reviewed International e-Journal. It is published by School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad. The School of Humanities and Social Science offers a vast range of teaching and research opportunities that contribute to the advancement of human understanding. We take pride in our stimulating teaching and vigorous research to foster the development of our students and staff. The school is involved in research and teaching. It offers higher degree programmes leading to the award of Doctoral, Master's, Bachelor’s degrees. The school attempts at integrating human values and social concerns. It undertakes teaching and research programmes in the areas of English, Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Political Science, Social Science, Public Administrator, Fine Arts and related interdisciplinary subjects over the years.
Chaitanya provides a platform to scholarly research papers in all the subjects of Humanities and Social Sciences in any of the four languages English, Hindi, Gujarati and Sanskrit. It is an open-access International journal which focuses on methodological advances, innovations, and insights in qualitative or mixed methods studies. The journal was first launched in the year 2019. Blind referee system is followed for review of the contributions before publication. No correspondence can be entertained regarding editorial policy. Unpublished, original contributions can be submitted within the range of 2000 words. The contributors are fully responsible for the content of their work and plagiarism.
